Loved the lagoon

We used the yona beach club morning pass and floated in the calm reef water while the palms threw long shadows across the sand. The infinity pool overlooking the Guam coastline was quieter than I expected at that hour. Wear water shoes if you plan to walk toward the coral flats.

Great start to the trip

Skip-the-line beach club entry meant no queue at the gate and a straight walk to the daybeds. The lagoon was calm and warm and the reef break kept the swell down for an easy swim. Plenty of shaded seating under the thatched cabanas.

Pretty and calm

The club sits right on a clear reef-protected lagoon and the early hours felt peaceful with soft light on the water. We picked the yona beach club morning pass tickets and had time to swim, lounge and dry off before it got busy. It does get warm quickly so claim shade early.

Calm lagoon swimming

Floating in the turquoise water with the palm-lined shore behind us was the easiest morning of our Guam landmarks trip. The infinity pool edge blending into the lagoon made for a lovely view from the loungers. Arrive at opening for the quietest water.

Worth the early wake-up

We rolled in for the yona beach club morning pass tours and the reef water was mirror-flat before the wind picked up. Snorkeling over the coral was better in the morning light, and the cabanas gave us a shaded base between swims. A calm, uncomplicated beach day.

Lovely but plan ahead

The lagoon and the palm-shaded deck at Yona Beach Club were the parts we enjoyed most, especially in the softer morning sun. Loungers near the infinity pool go quickly so getting there at opening helped. Bring your own towel to be safe.
